Role Overview

We are seeking a driven Product Design Manager to lead and nurture a team of product designers while ensuring top-tier design quality in a main product domain. This hybrid position requires three days onsite weekly at our Dublin, Ireland office.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a team of Product Designers, fostering their professional growth and development.
• Define and guide the design vision and user experience for a significant product segment in close collaboration with Product and Engineering teams.
• Offer constructive feedback and design critique to promote user-focused, high-quality outputs.
• Mentor designers through all phases from research and ideation to execution and refinement.
• Serve as a design authority and advocate for user needs aligned with business objectives.
• Work closely with product managers and engineers to influence roadmaps, scope tasks, and deliver impactful user experiences.
• Maintain and advance UI patterns, design systems, and design best practices within the team.
• Participate in recruiting, onboarding, and cultivating a robust design culture in the Dublin team.

Candidate Profile

• Experienced leader with 3 to 5 years managing product design teams.
• Strong background designing workflows, user journeys, and interfaces for intricate digital products, preferably in B2B SaaS.
• Capable of balancing leadership duties with hands-on design involvement when necessary.
• Skilled at providing clear guidance, feedback, and helping teams make decisions amid uncertainty.
• Excellent problem-solving skills to break down complex challenges into clear, actionable design solutions.
• Passionate about crafting outstanding user experiences and building high-functioning design teams.
• Knowledgeable in user research techniques and applying findings both at the product and team levels.
• Proficient with Figma and contemporary design processes.
• Strong communication, presentation, collaboration, and organizational abilities.
