As a Produce Stocker at Walmart Canada, you will gain valuable experience within a fast-paced retail setting. Key Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the produce department, ensuring it is visually appealing and ready for customers at all times.
• Regularly rotate stock and remove expired or unsatisfactory products to uphold product freshness and quality.
• Accurately price and label all produce items, following appropriate procedures for ordering, markdowns, and signage.
• Strictly adhere to food safety, sanitation, and cold chain protocols including temperature monitoring, proper handling, and compliance with expiration dates.
• Stock and restock merchandise as required, organize displays, and apply product protection measures when necessary.
• Follow all health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe, clean working environment.
• Be flexible in work scheduling and availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet business demands.

Potential Challenges

• Manage high-volume tasks efficiently in a fast-moving environment, especially during overnight shifts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Meet the physical demands of the role, such as prolonged standing, bending, and lifting items weighing up to 50 lbs., while performing repetitive stocking and organizing tasks with consistent attention to detail.

Compensation

The starting wage for this position is $15.80 per hour.
