This is a collaborative, detail-focused, mission-driven environment where precision, compliance, and operational efficiency are central. It is a strong fit for someone aiming to build a career in federal acquisition and procurement support.

Responsibilities

  • Support federal procurement operations by preparing and reviewing reports in FBMS and other procurement systems to monitor performance, obligations, and small business objectives.
  • Assist with building, updating, and refining procurement templates, standard operating procedures, and acquisition records.
  • Manage SharePoint pages and internal document libraries that store training content, policies, forms, and procurement reference materials.
  • Help organize procurement training, compliance monitoring, and virtual outreach or small business engagement activities.
  • Support the drafting and polishing of acquisition materials such as market research summaries, acquisition plans, and source selection documents.
  • Provide administrative and analytical support to contracting officers and program management teams so procurement activities stay on track.
  • Contribute to accurate data handling, consistent reporting, and adherence to federal acquisition standards and requirements.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or another related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • At least 3 years of experience supporting federal procurement, acquisition, or contracting functions in a government or government-contractor setting.
  • Practical knowledge of FAR regulations and federal procurement systems such as FBMS, PRISM, and FPDS.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office and SharePoint for documentation, reporting, and team collaboration.
  • Clear written and verbal communication abilities, with comfort working remotely across multiple teams.
  • Well-developed analytical, organizational, and detail-oriented work habits, especially in compliance-driven tasks.
  • Ability to qualify for HSPD-12 PIV credentials and complete a federal background check, including U.S. residency criteria.
  • Preferred background includes FAC-C Professional or DAWIA-equivalent certification and experience with procurement reporting tools and platforms.

Benefits

  • 401(k) plan with immediate vesting.
  • Medical, dental, and vision coverage.
  • Paid federal holidays and paid time off.
  • Tuition support for professional development.
  • Employer-paid short-term and long-term disability insurance.
  • Employer-paid life insurance, with optional supplemental coverage.
  • Flexible spending accounts and health savings accounts.
  • Commuter assistance and financial wellbeing programs.
  • Employee assistance resources, caregiver support, and health advocacy services.
  • Adoption support and initiatives that promote work-life balance.
  • Inclusive workplace practices with equal opportunity employment.
