Overview
A mission-driven nonprofit in Washington, D.C. is looking to hire a Procurement Project Coordinator to join their team temporarily, with the possibility of extension. This role supports initiatives aimed at enhancing procurement excellence by coordinating projects, improving processes, and engaging stakeholders.
Key Duties
- Assist in procurement-related project coordination and process enhancement efforts
- Monitor and report on project milestones, deliverables, assigned tasks, and communications among cross-functional teams
- Organize user adoption campaigns, communications, and training for procurement systems and workflows
- Maintain and update knowledge bases, process documents, job aids, FAQs, and training resources
- Collect and document business processes, workflows, and requirements from various stakeholders
- Support testing, validation, and readiness tasks for procurement system and process updates
- Conduct research, gather feedback, and contribute to ongoing operational improvement initiatives
Candidate Profile
- Must hold a bachelor's degree
- At least 3 years of experience in project coordination, business operations, procurement, process improvement, communications, or a related area
- Experience in supporting cross-functional projects and collaborating with diverse stakeholders
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Teams, and SharePoint; familiarity with Asana preferred
- Skilled in producing process documentation, training materials, presentations, and user guides
- Strong organizational, communication, and documentation capabilities
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and contribute to operational enhancements
Position Details
- Immediate start date
- Hourly wage ranging between $33 and $38
- Temporary role with potential duration up to one year
- Hybrid work model requiring onsite presence three days per week in Washington, D.C.
