About the Role

Aljazea Contracting & Trading is looking for a seasoned Procurement Manager to oversee procurement operations for infrastructure and construction projects throughout Saudi Arabia. This key leadership position demands strategic planning and hands-on management to support timely and cost-effective project execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Formulate and execute procurement strategies that align with project timelines and financial constraints.
  • Oversee sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing of construction materials, equipment, subcontractors, and services.
  • Lead supplier evaluation, commercial contract negotiations, contract oversight, and purchase order management.
  • Track procurement progress, delivery schedules, and supplier performance to assure project milestones are met.
  • Collaborate closely with project management, engineering, planning, finance, QA/QC, and warehouse departments.
  • Identify and apply cost-efficiency measures without compromising quality, compliance, or project specifications.
  • Establish and nurture robust relations with both local and global suppliers.
  • Guide, mentor, and develop the procurement team while complying with organizational policies and standards.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • At least 10 years of experience in procurement with a minimum of 5 years in managerial roles within the construction sector.
  • Substantial knowledge in infrastructure, water, wastewater, civil, and MEP projects.
  • Proven procurement expertise for pipes, valves, pumps, electrical and mechanical systems, and construction materials.
  • Strong skills in negotiation, contract management, supplier relationships, and cost control.
  • Familiarity with ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or equivalents.
  • Preferred certifications include CIPS, CPSM, CSCP, or PMP credentials.
  • Proficient communication abilities in both English and Arabic languages.

A result-oriented leader demonstrating excellent commercial judgment, skilled negotiation, and capacity to manage multiple construction projects in a dynamic setting while ensuring optimal business value.
