Position Overview
St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Schools is seeking applications for a probationary full-time Educational Assistant role at Sacred Heart School located in Wetaskiwin, Alberta. The position begins on August 28, 2026. The successful candidate will collaborate closely to support junior and senior high students with complex needs, fostering their academic success.
Candidate Profile and Requirements
Ideal applicants will have prior experience assisting students who have exceptional abilities and/or medical conditions. Experience in an educational setting is an advantage. Candidates must demonstrate reliability and uphold strict confidentiality standards.
Compliance and Additional Information
Employment hinges upon the provision of a recent (within six months) Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Check and an Alberta Children's Intervention Record Check, also recent within six months. While Catholic affiliation is not mandatory, it is considered a beneficial attribute.
