Role Overview

This Principal level role in Strategic Operations offers a unique opportunity to build and refine the operational foundation of a rapidly expanding organisation based in the United Kingdom. Key Responsibilities

• Create and continuously enhance leadership operating systems including planning cycles, decision-making frameworks, and execution rhythms.
• Manage quarterly and annual planning processes ensuring alignment among priorities, dependencies, and resource allocation across teams.
• Lead the execution of critical cross-functional initiatives by enhancing accountability, inter-team coordination, and follow-through.
• Develop scalable documentation, operational tools, and frameworks to improve team efficiency and execution.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders to identify organizational bottlenecks and introduce solutions that elevate decision quality and operational performance.
• Translate intricate business challenges into clear frameworks, actionable strategies, and measurable results.
• Integrate AI tools into daily operations to augment judgment, efficiency, and decision-making capabilities.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years’ experience in Business Operations, Strategic Operations, Chief of Staff roles, Management Consulting, or equivalent operational leadership within high-growth settings.
• Proven track record of designing and scaling operational systems, planning processes, or execution frameworks successfully in expanding organisations.
• Experience partnering directly with founders, executives, and senior leaders on company-wide projects.
• Exceptional ability to communicate complex information clearly and develop straightforward decision frameworks.
• Strong systems thinking and advanced problem-solving skills focused on root cause analysis and scalable solution design.
• Display excellent judgment, executive presence, and influence without direct reporting authority.
• Capability to operate autonomously in fast-paced, ambiguous environments while upholding high-quality standards.
• Demonstrated proficiency and daily use of AI tools with an understanding of their benefits and limitations, consistently improving their application.
• Knowledge of company planning methodologies such as OKRs, annual plans, or quarterly business reviews is advantageous.
• Familiarity with current collaboration and productivity technologies like Notion, Linear, Slack, analytics tools, and AI assistants is preferred.
