Role Overview
The Pricing Manager position is a full-time onsite role based in Gandhidham. This role focuses on developing and managing freight and logistics pricing strategies encompassing transportation, warehousing, packaging, and customs clearance services.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze market price trends and competitor rates to develop competitive pricing strategies.
- Prepare and manage quotations for customers, ensuring proposals are cost-effective and align with service capabilities.
- Update and maintain rate sheets and pricing tools to reflect current market conditions.
- Collaborate closely with sales, operations, and finance teams to support bids, tenders, and pricing decisions.
- Monitor profitability and recommend pricing adjustments based on shifting market dynamics.
- Implement ongoing improvements in pricing processes to optimize margins while maintaining client satisfaction.
Candidate Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills for cost assessments, rate comparisons, and margin optimization.
- Commercial awareness and experience in preparing quotes, bids, and customer proposals.
- Knowledge of logistics and supply chain functions, including transportation, warehousing, packaging, and customs clearance.
- Proficiency in spreadsheet applications and pricing tools, with strong data management and reporting skills.
- Excellent communication and the ability to collaborate effectively with various internal teams and external partners.
- Detail-oriented with problem-solving capability and ability to meet deadlines in fast-paced settings.
- Preferred experience in pricing within logistics, shipping, freight forwarding, or related industries.
