Pre-Sales and Post-Sales Engineer

Job Overview

An engineering position is open for an experienced Pre-Sales Engineer specializing in low current systems, based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role involves comprehensive involvement from initial customer requirement analysis through to handing over projects to execution teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze client needs and evaluate project specifications.
• Conduct site visits and prepare detailed technical reports.
• Create Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and identify suitable products.
• Design solutions for Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems.
• Develop both technical and financial proposals.
• Draft initial schematics utilizing AutoCAD and Visio software.
• Collaborate with suppliers to secure optimal solutions and pricing.
• Deliver technical presentations to clients and assist the sales team.
• Ensure smooth project transfer to the implementation team post contract award.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications Engineering, Network Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of three years’ experience in Pre-Sales roles for low current systems.
• Practical knowledge in technologies including CCTV, Structured Cabling, Fiber Optics, Access Control, Time Attendance, Intercom, Wi-Fi & Networking, and Public Address (PA) Systems.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Capable of preparing BOQs and technical proposals effectively.
• Fluent in both Arabic and English.
• Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines consistently.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the Saudi Arabian market is advantageous.
• Valid driving license is preferred.
