Role Overview

The Global HR Policy Specialist will orchestrate the creation, application, governance, and ongoing enhancement of comprehensive HR policies, protocols, and employment lifecycle frameworks to be adopted across all TAC Security offices worldwide. The position mandates a keen balance of adherence to local labor legislations while aligning with the company’s global culture, core values, and strategic goals.

Primary Duties

  • Develop, evaluate, and upkeep global HR policies, procedures, handbooks, and guidelines for employees.
  • Harmonize HR methods across various geographic regions ensuring observance of local laws.
  • Design scalable frameworks for policy to support organizational expansion.
  • Maintain rigorous documentation, including version controls and policy governance records.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws in all countries where the company operates.
  • Collaborate with Legal, Finance, Payroll, and leadership teams for effective policy implementation.
  • Perform periodic audits of HR policies, suggesting and enacting improvements.
  • Track and update policies proactively in response to changes in labor legislation.
  • Develop and manage a broad spectrum of policies encompassing recruitment, onboarding, contracts, probation, attendance, leave, remote working, performance management, transfers, compensation governance, travel policies, conduct and ethics, disciplinary procedures, grievance handling, separations, data privacy, information security, whistleblower protections, and rewards system.
  • Establish and maintain global HR governance standards and approval procedures for policy modifications.
  • Manage documentation for compliance and audit preparedness.
  • Produce policy compliance metrics and dashboards.
  • Engage stakeholders across HR, Legal, Payroll, IT, Finance, and executive leadership, providing guidance and leading communication of policy updates.
  • Develop policy awareness programs, training sessions, manuals, FAQs, and knowledge repositories to educate employees.
  • Implement process improvements through automation and digital workflows aimed at enhancing the employee experience.
  • Benchmark company policies against industry best practices to ensure competitiveness and compliance.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law, or a related discipline is required.
  • A master's degree or MBA in HR is preferred.
  • Between 8 and 12 years of relevant HR experience, including substantial involvement with policy management and governance.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of managing HR policies across multiple countries and a deep understanding of global labor laws and compliance requirements.
  • Experience in multinational companies is advantageous.
