Opportunity Overview
Join an exciting new state-of-the-art manufacturing facility currently undergoing significant growth and expansion. This role enables you to be instrumental in establishing and shaping operational processes from inception, leading key projects within a strictly regulated, high-stakes production setting.
Primary Responsibilities
- Oversee project management efforts across designated manufacturing lines or specific workstreams.
- Drive program delivery utilizing well-structured project management methodologies and governance models.
- Coordinate effectively among cross-functional teams to identify, communicate, and mitigate risks.
- Create and manage comprehensive project plans covering scope, schedules, milestones, and resource distribution.
- Ensure adherence to timelines through regular operational review meetings, both daily and weekly.
- Facilitate problem-solving sessions to address and remove operational bottlenecks hampering delivery.
- Critically analyze and improve current scheduling and project execution approaches.
- Maintain transparency with strong reporting, tracking, and governance mechanisms.
- Assess and approve any changes influencing project scope, budgets, timing, or delivery approach.
- Support smooth transition phases from project conception and planning through execution and operational readiness stages.
Qualifications & Experience
- Possess 3 to 5+ years of experience in project or program leadership roles within manufacturing, engineering, or regulated sectors.
- Experienced in managing major capital or manufacturing projects is highly desirable.
- Thorough knowledge of the entire project lifecycle and on-site execution.
- Excellent skills in stakeholder engagement and cross-functional teamwork.
- Demonstrated ability to influence outcomes without direct authority.
- Familiar with manufacturing processes and quality documentation requirements.
- Skilled in facilitating workshops, solving problems, and presenting information effectively.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Project and Excel.
- Experience managing people is a bonus, though not mandatory.
Educational Requirements
- Hold a degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Science, or a related field.
- Project management certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, IPM, or similar is preferred.
Ideal Industry Background
- Experience within medical device, pharmaceutical, biotech, or other highly regulated manufacturing environments.
- Involvement in establishing greenfield manufacturing sites or executing expansion projects.
- Exposure to operational readiness activities, commissioning, or scaling up manufacturing operations.
