Position Objective
The Planning Officer is responsible for supporting daily planning and coordination activities to ensure smooth order processing, shipment preparation, and logistics execution. The role involves managing documentation, updating tracking systems, preparing packing lists, and coordinating with warehouse, transportation, and customs clearance teams to ensure timely delivery and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Applying for necessary documents and generating order numbers.
- Maintaining up-to-date records in Google Sheets and other tracking systems.
- Generating sales order numbers in response to demand fluctuations.
- Producing packing lists and all required shipment documentation.
- Liaising effectively with warehouse, transportation, and customs clearance departments.
- Monitoring transportation schedules to guarantee on-time deliveries.
- Ensuring the accuracy of records and providing support for daily planning operations.
Requirements
- A Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related discipline is beneficial.
- Proficiency in basic Excel and Google Sheets functionalities.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a high degree of numerical accuracy.
- Demonstrated practicality, reliability, and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Capability to perform effectively under pressure and adhere to strict deadlines.
- Excellent execution and organizational capabilities.
