Role Overview

We are seeking a full-time Planning Engineer to be based onsite in Abu Dhabi. The primary responsibilities involve creating and managing detailed project schedules, tracking progress, ensuring timelines are met, and applying project controls. The role requires analyzing data and effectively communicating updates to align project objectives with schedules and available resources.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and update project schedules utilizing Primavera P6 software.
• Track progress of contractors and subcontractors, preparing weekly and monthly reports with graphical representations and critical path evaluations.
• Detect delays, deviations, and risks, providing recommendations for corrective measures to both clients and management.
• Conduct site visits to validate progress and confirm adherence to schedules.
• Assist in delay analysis, claims evaluation, and assessment of project variations.
• Work closely with project teams, clients, and contractors to facilitate timely communication and coordination.
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate documentation of schedules, progress reports, and supporting materials for audits and project closeout.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6.
• At least 10 years of construction experience, including a minimum of 5 years working in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
• Strong communication and organizational abilities.
• Previous involvement in mega projects is highly favored.
• Current residency within the UAE is mandatory.
