Job Overview
RMC Switchgears, established originally as RFH Metal Castings Pvt Ltd in 1994 and a prominent name in the electrical industry, is seeking a skilled Planning Engineer proficient in MS Project. The role demands expertise in project planning, scheduling, and execution within electrical projects.
Primary Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain precise project plans and schedules using MS Project.
- Coordinate effectively across teams ensuring project timelines are met and multiple project deadlines are managed efficiently.
- Regularly update project tracking and reporting through MS Excel and PowerPoint tools.
- Communicate project progress and challenges clearly through presentations and reporting mechanisms.
Essential Qualifications and Skills
- A Bachelor’s degree in Energy and Power Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE), Electronics, or Electrical fields.
- Proficient use of MS Project for detailed project planning and scheduling.
- Strong coordination and follow-up abilities to ensure seamless project flow.
- Solid knowledge in MS Excel and PowerPoint for reporting and presentation purposes.
- Excellent communication skills to articulate project status and follow-ups.
Work Environment and Location
This position is based in Jaipur, India, requiring on-site presence to handle projects effectively.
