Role overview
APM New Zealand is looking for an experienced Physiotherapist to join its New Plymouth team in the Taranaki region. This role is ideal for a clinician who enjoys varied work, strong teamwork, and delivering meaningful outcomes for people across homes, workplaces, and community settings.
You will report to a Team Leader and work within a supportive, high-performing environment that focuses on client outcomes, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Concussion services focus
- Assessing and managing concussion and mild to moderate traumatic brain injury
- Working with cervical spine, vestibular, and oculomotor presentations
- Coordinating care with GPs, specialists, and a wider multidisciplinary team
Key responsibilities
- Provide physiotherapy support across home, workplace, and community environments
- Use strong clinical judgement to deliver care that is effective and outcome-focused
- Contribute to a team culture built on collaboration, growth, and innovation
- Deliver client-centred rehabilitation tailored to individual needs
- Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, whānau, and stakeholders
What you will bring

- Proven experience delivering community-based rehabilitation
