Phlebotomist - Home Collection

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Phlebotomist to perform home-based sample collections for Thyrocare Technologies Pvt Ltd across Hyderabad. This role involves visiting patients' residences to collect blood samples using Vacutainer, conducting ECGs where necessary, and ensuring all samples are properly handled and transport to the laboratory promptly maintaining hygiene and patient care standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Travel to patients' homes as scheduled for sample collection.
• Perform safe and accurate blood sample extractions using Vacutainer and other collection techniques.
• Conduct ECG procedures when required by the patient or testing protocol.
• Label and barcode samples correctly and complete all related documentation accurately.
• Ensure maintenance of cold chain during sample handling and guarantee timely delivery to the laboratory.
• Educate patients about test procedures and fasting requirements when necessary.

Candidate Requirements

• Possession of DMLT or MLT certification is mandatory; candidates with B.Sc Nursing or GNM qualifications are also eligible.
• At least six months of experience in performing Vacutainer blood collections is required.
• Experience in home sample collection is preferred.
• Must own a two-wheeler with a valid driving license and be willing to travel within designated areas.

Compensation and Work Schedule

• Payment includes a minimum guarantee of 90 samples collected monthly, remunerated at Rs. 150 per collection.
• Working hours for full-time staff are 6 AM to 2 PM, while part-time hours are 6 AM to 11 AM.
