About the Role
We are looking for a dedicated Personal Lines Handler to join a prominent insurance brokerage located in Donegal Town. This role offers a unique chance to engage directly with individual clients, delivering customized insurance services within a hybrid work environment that requires onsite presence one day per week. Both full-time and part-time applicants are welcome to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and retain a personal lines client portfolio, ensuring client satisfaction remains high.
- Administer insurance tasks such as policy renewals, comparing quotes, and prompt issuance of policies.
- Respond to client questions, facilitate mid-term policy adjustments, and guide clients through the claims process.
- Collect necessary information for underwriters to assist in risk placement.
- Keep detailed and compliant records according to regulations and company standards.
- Stay updated on the latest personal insurance products and market changes that could impact clients.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to guarantee seamless client service.
Experience and Expertise Needed
- Previous hands-on experience in personal lines insurance, particularly in motor insurance.
- Relevant qualifications such as APA or CIP, or progress towards these certifications.
- Comprehensive understanding of personal insurance products, including Home, Motor, and Travel policies.
- Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Knowledge of the regulatory framework specific to personal insurance in Ireland.
- Proficiency using insurance software systems; experience with specific tools is advantageous.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills committed to excellent customer service.
