Overview
Join a rapidly expanding international tech company as a People Operations Specialist, based primarily in Farringdon, London with hybrid work arrangements requiring onsite presence one day per week. This role offers a salary range of £40,000 to £50,000 plus benefits.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary contact for employee HR, benefits, and general inquiries.
- Oversee HR administration activities throughout the entire employee lifecycle including onboarding, modifications, leave management, and offboarding.
- Maintain precise employee records, contracts, and HR documentation in the HR systems.
- Regularly update and manage HR policies, templates, and compliance materials.
- Identify and implement enhancements to people operations processes, workflows, and systems to increase efficiency and scalability.
- Manage Leapsome HR system to ensure goal setting, performance review cycles, organizational objectives, and reports are accurately maintained.
- Assist leadership and employees with performance management initiatives such as goal setting and review cycles.
- Monitor employee engagement metrics, goal completion, and participation in performance programs.
- Lead the company-wide Career Framework project to support growth and development.
- Coordinate end-to-end recruitment functions including interview scheduling, candidate correspondence, offer documentation, and pre-employment onboarding.
- Maintain updated recruitment records and Applicant Tracking System (ATS) data.
- Support HR compliance across multiple countries, conducting right-to-work verification and managing employment documentation.
- Assist with US state registrations and various compliance duties.
- Generate HR, payroll, and workforce analytic reports to aid leadership decision-making.
Required Experience and Skills
- Proven background in people operations and HR administration in a fast-paced and scaling environment.
- Familiarity with coordinating payroll processes in the UK and US is advantageous.
- Experience supporting performance management and employee engagement systems.
- Demonstrated strong organizational abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and capacity to handle multiple priorities.
- Proficient in extracting and interpreting people data, coupled with excellent written and verbal communication.
- Hands-on experience with HR platforms such as Rippling, Leapsome, or comparable systems.
- Skilled in maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information professionally.
- Competent with intermediate-level Excel functions.
- Track record of enhancing HR operational procedures and process improvements.
