Position Overview

Based at Colchester Land Rover, this permanent full-time role entails working Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 5 pm, with Saturdays on a rotating basis. Reporting to the Aftersales Manager, the PDI Technician will perform Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI) on new vehicles, and handle preparation, servicing, and repairs of used cars adhering to approved standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform thorough Pre-Delivery Inspections and diagnostic checks on both new and used vehicles.
• Apply technical expertise to ensure efficient, economical, and safe servicing and repairs.
• Collaborate effectively within the service team to consistently deliver superior customer service.
• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with team members.
• Ensure accurate completion of repair, service records, and other administrative paperwork to a high standard.

Compensation & Work Schedule

• Salary of £31,000 plus a £3,000 productivity bonus.
• Participation in an uncapped Time Saved Bonus Scheme.
• Work hours Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5 pm; Saturdays on a rota basis.
