Role Overview
The Payroll Advisor is tasked with accurately processing weekly and monthly payroll for UK employees in a timely manner. This role involves handling payroll queries, ensuring compliance with payroll tax laws specific to the UK and Ireland, and collaborating closely with Time and Attendance and HR teams to maintain accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute payroll processing on a weekly and monthly basis for employees based in the UK with precision and punctuality.
- Address and resolve payroll discrepancies or queries promptly to ensure accuracy.
- Maintain compliance with current payroll tax regulations, including HMRC guidelines and Irish laws where relevant.
- Work alongside the UK Time and Attendance team to guarantee timely and correct submission of payroll-related data.
- Engage with local Human Resources teams to synchronize payroll operations.
- Support team objectives by contributing to related tasks and activities as needed.
- Generate and submit payroll reports according to requirements.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experienced with payroll systems, particularly Success Factors software.
- Comprehensive understanding of UK payroll tax regulations and HMRC standards.
- Exceptional attention to detail to ensure accuracy in payroll processing.
- Excellent communication skills and a strong focus on customer service.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel.
- A proactive approach to teamwork and the ability to operate effectively in fast-paced settings.
