Role Overview

As a Retail Assistant, your primary responsibility is to ensure customers receive an excellent shopping experience, from the moment they enter the store to helping them find products, upselling when possible, and efficiently managing sales transactions.

Work Hours

• Friday: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
• Sunday: 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM
• Monday: 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM
• Total weekly hours: 22.5

Key Duties

• Maintain a strong focus on health and safety for yourself, colleagues, and customers
• Deliver outstanding customer service and create meaningful interactions with shoppers
• Utilize excellent customer service skills to help boost sales
• Keep the showroom in pristine condition, with high standards for presentation and merchandising
• Handle stock processes including receiving, dispatching, and storage
• Contribute positively to the team by being cooperative and engaging in a collaborative team culture
• The role requires physical activities such as lifting, bending, and climbing

Skills and Experience

• A genuine passion for working with people and delivering exceptional customer service
• Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred
• An interest in automotive products is advantageous but not mandatory
• Confidence in a sales-driven retail environment and effective communication with diverse customers
• Excellent telephone etiquette, strong communication, and a positive, team-oriented mentality
