Job description
Key Responsibilities
The role involves performing periodic audits of disbursed credit cases to ensure compliance with eligibility criteria, banking and credit policies, and overall policy adherence. It requires reviewing customer data accuracy and operational efficiency to reduce errors, identifying policy or process gaps, and flagging critical issues including fraudulent activities. Supporting the credit and operations teams by providing qualitative feedback and fostering process improvements is essential. Additionally, the role includes implementing effective controls and process enhancements and delivering training sessions to ensure adherence to program standards.
Dashboard & Reporting
Responsibilities include preparing, maintaining, and presenting various dashboards and key risk indicators. Monthly audit reports segmented by criticality must be formulated for different products, along with timely delivery of data for management review.
Training & Communication
The manager will conduct nationwide classroom training sessions for the credit team on audit findings, hold regular governance meetings, and engage with National Credit Managers (NCMs) to provide product feedback.
Process Monitoring
Tasks include selecting monthly audit samples, weekly monitoring of audits, discussing errors with the credit team to ensure prompt resolution, and publishing hindsighting reports within set deadlines.
Process Automation
The role requires automating existing audit processes through dashboards and tools, identifying system issues, optimizing MIS reporting, and implementing automated credit assessment where feasible.
