Package Engineer (Expeditor)

Role Overview

The Package Engineer (Expeditor) manages equipment packages from the initial purchase stage through to final delivery, ensuring all project and contractual standards are met. This position is crucial for tracking and coordinating the progress of procurement activities in an EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate with buyers to finalize purchase orders and manage document submissions from vendors.
• Organize and oversee inspections, testing procedures, and ensure timely delivery of equipment and spare parts.
• Maintain active communication with vendors, project teams, owner representatives, and third-party inspectors.
• Conduct progress meetings and monitor vendor performance and payment schedules.
• Provide support for installation, commissioning, and warranty-related issues, ensuring thorough documentation throughout the procurement lifecycle.

Candidate Profile

• Holder of a degree from a recognized tertiary institution or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum of five years relevant experience, especially within EPC projects.
• Possesses a proactive and eager-to-learn attitude.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Capable of multitasking and thriving in a fast-paced environment.

Work Locations

Multiple yards across Singapore including Admiralty Yard, Tuas Boulevard Yard, Pioneer Yard, Tuas Yard, and Benoi Yard. Transport is provided from Sembawang MRT and islandwide for other locations.

Working Hours

Monday to Thursday: 8:00 AM to 5:15 PM
Friday: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
