Over-the-Counter Associate

Position Overview

The Over-the-Counter Associate plays a key role in assisting customers within the pharmacy department, organizing designated areas, supporting tasks assigned by the OTC or Pharmacy Manager, and ensuring an attractive and orderly product presentation aligned with Walmart's core values and customer service standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Protect patient privacy and strictly adhere to confidentiality regulations as mandated by the Privacy Act.
• Work under the guidance of the Pharmacy Manager to enhance department profitability and sales.
• Perform regular stock rotation and monitor items for expiry dates to maintain product quality.
• Organize and maintain the assigned department area through zoning activities.
• Apply correct procedures for inventory management including ordering, clearance, pricing adjustments, and labelling.
• Ensure the department remains neat, clean, and free from clutter, including removing unnecessary items and liquids.
• Maintain perfect accuracy in pricing through adherence to the Scanning Credibility Program, ensuring zero pricing errors.
• Calibrate equipment used for prescription filling accurately and regularly.

Compensation

The hourly pay for this position starts at $17.75.

Basic Qualifications
