About the Role
The Outreach Coordinator at Embracify Foundation plays an essential role in expanding the organization's reach by engaging with educational institutions, organizations, guest speakers, and students. This position offers a wonderful opportunity for individuals who enjoy interacting with people, organizing events, and leveraging social media platforms to promote impactful opportunities.
Primary Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate virtual events by communicating directly with panelists and guest speakers through emails, scheduling, and sharing pertinent event information.
- Assist in organizing and possibly hosting a variety of events including webinars, workshops, and panels designed for students.
- Execute strategic outreach efforts targeting schools, clubs, organizations, and individuals, including initiating contact via cold emails and messages to potential partners or speakers.
- Promote Embracify’s events, chapters, and initiatives across digital platforms such as LinkedIn, Instagram, and TikTok with guidance from the team.
- Maintain straightforward tracking systems for outreach including lists of contacts, responses, and follow-up actions to ensure all communication is efficiently managed.
- Work closely with team members to develop innovative outreach ideas aimed at increasing student engagement.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Preferred candidates are high school or early college students; however, applicants of any age are encouraged to apply.
- Comfortable engaging with new contacts via email, direct messaging, and virtual calls.
- Keen interest in communication, public speaking, youth leadership, mental health, or community-building efforts.
- Basic understanding of social media platforms and eagerness to learn outreach tools.
- Dependable and responsible with the ability to complete assigned tasks, reply promptly to communications, and adhere to deadlines.
- Able to work effectively in a youth-driven environment and embrace constructive feedback.
Desired, but Not Required
- Experience in extracurricular activities such as debate, journalism, theater, student council, or other leadership roles.
- Previous involvement in organizing school events, virtual meetups, or student activities.
- Confidence in speaking or hosting in front of small online audiences.
