Role Overview
The Operations Supervisor is a principled leader responsible for supporting daily operational activities and maintaining store preparedness. Reporting to the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager, this role plays a critical part in ensuring smooth store operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage shipment processing, stock replenishment, and organize inventory efficiently.
- Uphold back-of-house standards and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Maintain store cleanliness, safety protocols, and compliance with regulations.
- Recognize operational challenges and report them appropriately.
- Depending on the store's size and complexity, the role may expand to broader leadership duties.
Store Leadership Expectations
- Exemplify and embody company values in leadership.
- Act as the Head Coach by guiding team members through coaching, zoning, and both team and individual selling.
- Develop and mentor associates and leaders.
- Perform daily workforce management tasks.
- Ensure visual merchandising meets company standards.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams for flawless execution.
- Demonstrate leadership behaviors that align with company competencies.
- Enforce company policies and procedures rigorously.
- Undertake other duties as assigned.
Compensation
The role offers a salary range between $18.40 and $22.10 per hour. Actual pay will be based on factors such as skills, experience, and location.
Requirements
- Genuine enthusiasm for the Victoria’s Secret brand and commitment to enhancing customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Strong focus on detail and effective execution of tasks.
- Able to perform well in fast-paced retail environments.
- Capability to provide coaching on the spot.
- Preferred: 1–2 years of retail experience.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and varied schedules.
- Physical ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform activities including bending, stretching, kneeling, walking, and standing for extended periods.
- Proficiency in using technological devices such as headsets, mobile devices, and computers.
