Position Overview
The On-Site Support Specialist role involves delivering dedicated support services at a customer site in Peterborough, ON, under limited supervision. This position has opened to fill a replacement vacancy and offers an hourly wage between $21.00 and $26.97 CAD.
Primary Duties
- Deliver outstanding customer service to strengthen client relationships and encourage continuous business.
- Occasionally provide leadership and mentoring to fellow staff members.
- Carry out support activities at the customer location including, but not limited to, ART, VMI, driving, delivery, crib attendance, inventory/storeroom tasks, and customer service.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Completion of high school diploma or GED is typically required.
- Three to five years of relevant related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proven dependability, organizational skills, and keen attention to detail.
- Industry knowledge is necessary; familiarity with warehouse products is an advantage.
- Strong customer service orientation and effective communication capabilities.
- Skillful in multitasking and managing time efficiently.
- Moderate proficiency in computer use, including internal and external email communication, navigating business systems, and web-based product searches.
- Forklift certification may be required.
- Possession of a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Physical Requirements
Ability to move items weighing up to 100 pounds and lift objects up to 50 pounds is necessary.
