On-site Customer Support Specialist

CEC is a comprehensive supplier and solutions provider dedicated to clients operating in high-purity, controlled environments. We are looking to hire an On-site Customer Support Specialist who will collaborate closely with account managers and various internal teams to deliver excellent on-site services, distribute products, provide technical assistance, and help optimize business results for both CEC and its clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with on-site customers, ensuring superior customer service standards.
• Coordinate product deliveries across various client site locations.
• Handle goods receiving tasks including verification, counting, and proper storage of stock.
• Pick and pack customer orders within agreed timelines and turnaround expectations.
• Manage stock levels throughout the site to maintain necessary inventory.
• Perform stock audits and cycle counts proactively to sustain warehouse stock accuracy.
• Utilize computerized Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and other relevant software.
• Proactively identify issues as well as propose and implement practical solutions.
• Support project implementations, ongoing goals, and respond to critical client needs.
• Be adaptable to perform additional duties as required.
• Operate company vehicles and forklifts safely and efficiently.
• Oversee project tasks ensuring timely completion according to schedule.
• Troubleshoot and repair hardware within scope of training and guidelines.
• Carry out manual repair work as necessary following set protocols.
• Handle installation and relocation of equipment.
• Engage with several computerized systems integral to operations.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Demonstrated flexibility, reliability, and a committed work ethic combined with a positive outlook.
• Self-motivated and capable of managing tasks independently in a dynamic environment.
• Skilled at discerning customer needs and identifying sales prospects, passionate about exceptional customer service delivery.
• Possesses strong technical skills and mechanical aptitude.
• Attention to detail and precision are essential.
• Aptitude for problem-solving and creative thinking.
• Valid full Irish driver’s license is preferred.
• Forklift operation experience is advantageous.
• Previous work with stock management systems such as SAP or equivalents is desirable.
• Experience working in cleanroom environments is a plus but not mandatory.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Comfortable with technology and troubleshooting both software and hardware challenges is highly valued.
• Preferably 2 to 3 years of experience in a comparable customer support role.
