Role Summary
As an NPI Program Manager, you will be an integral part of an international order fulfillment team, working closely with development and production engineers.
Responsibilities
- Take full responsibility for New Product Introduction (NPI) programs from the development phase through stable serial production launch.
- Manage the product lifecycle process, including phase and milestone reviews.
- Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams involving engineering, supply chain, procurement, and manufacturing.
- Serve as the key liaison between R&D and manufacturing to ensure smooth product handover.
- Plan and coordinate prototype builds, pilot phases, and production ramp-ups.
- Ensure manufacturing and supply chain readiness in terms of materials, capacity, and quality.
- Identify, assess, and control risks with escalation and mitigation management.
- Provide transparent status updates and management communication regarding progress, risks, and required actions.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to optimize the NPI processes.
Qualifications
- Degree in engineering or a related field such as electrical engineering.
- Solid project management expertise with experience handling complex, cross-functional projects.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and quality control.
- In-depth knowledge of optical assemblies and RF technology.
- Persuasive and motivating personality with excellent team and communication skills.
- Fluency in German and English, both spoken and written.
- Proficient in MS Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Quick comprehension, analytical thinking, and a structured, independent working style.
