Night Porter

Overview

Inspired Villages is guided by a strong mission to create vibrant communities that positively impact residents' lives daily. We are seeking a dedicated Night Porter to uphold the safety, security, and welcoming atmosphere of our village during nighttime hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact during overnight emergencies, managing situations with composure and efficiency.
• Perform frequent patrols throughout the village, conducting security, fire, and safety inspections.
• Offer a friendly and helpful presence to residents, visitors, and guests, providing information and assistance as required.
• Respond professionally to inquiries regarding village amenities and services.
• Maintain cleanliness and tidiness in public areas over the night shift.
• Clean and upkeep facilities such as the gym, pool, steam room, and changing rooms; monitor and log pool chemical levels diligently.
• Assist during emergency occurrences, including first aid and evacuation protocols.
• Handle waste management duties, including relocating bins to designated pickup points.
• Ensure the overall safety, security, and well-being of the property and its occupants throughout the night hours.

Qualifications & Experience

• Proven ability to manage challenging scenarios calmly and professionally, especially in roles involving customer interaction or safety responsibilities.
• Experience fostering a warm, hospitable environment while delivering outstanding customer service consistently.
• While not mandatory, qualifications such as Health & Safety, COSHH, First Aid, or equivalent are considered beneficial.
