Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Molecular Biologist specializing in molecular and cellular biology to contribute to AI model development through creating and validating scientifically accurate content. This remote contract position values candidates with substantial laboratory experience, notably in CRISPR techniques and molecular biology. Prior experience in AI is not necessary.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and conduct gene editing experiments utilizing CRISPR technology.
- Carry out cloning, PCR amplification, genotyping, and sequencing procedures.
- Develop DNA and RNA constructs and assist in molecular screenings.
- Interpret molecular and cellular biology principles and data.
- Maintain detailed documentation of experimental processes ensuring scientific rigor.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams on biologically oriented projects.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Genetics, Biotechnology, or related disciplines.
- Practical experience with CRISPR gene editing, cloning, PCR, and genotyping techniques.
- In-depth knowledge of molecular biology and genetics.
- Strong analytical abilities coupled with excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Meticulous approach with capacity for independent work.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree such as Master's or Ph.D. in relevant scientific fields.
- Background in scientific content assessment, data annotation, or involvement with AI-focused initiatives.
- Experience collaborating with remote or cross-disciplinary teams.
