Job Details
We are seeking to hire one full-time permanent Mine Site Cleaner located at our mine site in Nyngan, New South Wales. The position operates on a 7 days on, 7 days off roster with shifts running from 5:30 AM to 5:30 PM, totaling 11.5 hours per shift.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintaining cleanliness of mine site facilities including offices, crib huts, and bathhouses
- Performing common area cleaning duties such as emptying rubbish bins, sweeping, mopping, and general hygiene maintenance
- Supporting the broader cleaning team with assigned tasks
- Undertaking housekeeping duties including room and ensuite cleaning and bed making as needed
Required Skills and Experience
- Minimum of 12 months cleaning experience
- Commitment to delivering friendly and genuine customer service
- Positive and proactive attitude with motivation and enthusiasm
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Maintains good personal hygiene and professional appearance
- Must hold a valid driver’s license (manual or automatic)
- Australian citizenship or permanent residency is mandatory
