Medical Director

Job Overview

We are seeking an exceptional Medical Director to lead and oversee clinical quality, supervising the medical staff's performance, ensuring adherence to top-tier healthcare standards and regulatory requirements, and spearheading initiatives to enhance care outcomes within our medical facilities as part of ARKAN Development Company's medical division.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership and direct supervision to physicians and medical personnel, assessing their professional performance.
• Lead medical committees and quality and safety improvement teams within the healthcare facility.
• Contribute to the development of strategic and clinical plans for the facility.
• Ensure compliance with all standards set by the Ministry of Health and other relevant organizations.
• Develop and implement clinical protocols and guidelines.
• Act as the primary liaison between senior management and medical staff.
• Manage the medical budget to optimize operational efficiency, quality, and clinical affairs.
• Monitor medical indicators (KPIs) and adherence to health accreditation standards (CBAHI).
• Handle medical complaints and conduct internal investigations related to physicians' conduct.

Qualifications and Experience

• Must hold a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MD/MBBS) degree at minimum.
• Board certification in a clinical specialty is preferred.
• Current valid license to practice from the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties.
• Minimum of 5 years of medical practice experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory capacity.
• Proficiency in English, strong leadership and data analysis skills, and deep understanding of healthcare systems.
