Role Overview
This is a part-time independent contractor opportunity for a Mechanical CAD Document Specialist. The work is fully remote and centers on building and evaluating benchmark-style tasks related to mechanical drawings, CAD documents, and visual interpretation of technical materials.
What You’ll Do
- Design benchmark tasks that test understanding of mechanical drawings, CAD files, and related visual documents.
- Assess how well model outputs follow instructions and interpret document-based workflows.
- Build tasks with clear expected answers and objective ways to score results.
- Review responses for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to instructions.
Requirements
- Ability to create sophisticated tasks grounded in mechanical and CAD documentation.
- Skill in defining precise reference answers and measurable evaluation criteria.
- Capability to judge model output for correctness and instruction compliance.
- Comfort reading technical drawings, schematics, engineering documents, and visual specifications.

- Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and maintain high standards.
Engagement Details
