Job Overview

The Masseuse provides high-quality massage and wellness treatments while ensuring guests receive service that matches the hotel’s luxury standards. The role combines hands-on treatment delivery with guest interaction, spa support, hygiene control, and operational assistance.

Key Responsibilities

This position involves delivering a range of massage therapies, keeping treatment rooms ready and well maintained, and making sure cleanliness and hygiene standards remain consistently high. The job also includes maintaining treatment records, supporting reception duties in the spa or recreation area when needed, promoting spa offerings, and responding to guest questions in a polished and professional manner.

Additional duties include checking supplies and equipment, escalating maintenance concerns, observing hotel policies, and following health, safety, fire, and emergency procedures. The role also calls for strong grooming standards, participation in training, support for broader department operations, and completion of other tasks assigned by management.

Qualifications

Applicants should hold a diploma or certificate in Massage Therapy, Spa Therapy, or a related discipline. A valid Massage Therapist license or a government-approved certification is required.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of experience as a Masseuse in a hotel, resort, spa, or wellness environment, with five-star hotel experience preferred. Strong knowledge of different massage techniques is expected, along with a good command of spoken and written English. Additional languages are considered an advantage.

Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential. Candidates must present themselves professionally, maintain high standards of hygiene and grooming, and be willing to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays. Familiarity with health, safety, hygiene, and emergency procedures is also required.
