About the role
Americana Foods is hiring energetic, inquisitive Market Research Assistants to begin their careers in a hands-on field role. The position is a strong fit for high school graduates who enjoy being active, meeting people, and understanding how retail environments operate. University graduates are also welcome to be considered.
In this role, you will spend time in the market visiting stores, reviewing product displays, and gathering data that helps improve how families across the UAE discover the products they need. Your observations will support better product presentation, more consumer-friendly branding, and stronger market strategies. This opportunity offers practical exposure, useful skill-building, and the chance to contribute to a team with real impact.
Responsibilities
- Go to supermarkets and retail outlets in your emirate to review product displays.
- Capture photos and complete straightforward checklists through the Shelvz mobile application.
- Log information on product availability, shelf placement, visibility, pricing, and competitor actions.
- Identify market patterns and communicate your findings to the team.
- Assist in creating brief reports and presentations from your observations.
- Share input that can improve the shopping experience in the local community.
Requirements
- High school diploma or a higher qualification.
- 0 to 2 years of work experience; recent graduates may apply.
- Strong eye for detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Basic computer skills; knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint is an advantage.
- Good communication abilities and a collaborative approach.
- Willingness to travel within your emirate for store visits.
- Possession of a valid UAE driving licence is preferred.
