Role Overview

The Manager of MIS Business Analysis will oversee the controls around data inputs and outputs, defining business requirements and analyzing them into detailed specifications. This position manages enterprise data warehouse functions and business intelligence technologies, collaborating closely with business units to administer data and database systems supporting organizational information needs. Responsibilities include designing and sustaining the enterprise information strategy, data modeling, and database environments that assist in applications and reporting functions. The role demands balancing priorities between project development, database administration, and enterprise architecture ventures.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive, effective, and cost-efficient responses to user requirements.
• Track and evaluate unit performance metrics and execute KPIs tailored for MIS Business Analysis.
• Encourage efficiency and cost-awareness to improve productivity and reduce waste within the bank.
• Adhere to the delegated authority limits in execution.
• Collaborate with users across departments to gather and document requirements before proposing solutions.
• Support customers with inquiries about bank products and work towards prompt resolutions.
• Maintain adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) internally to enhance turnaround times.
• Forge and nurture strong partnerships with related units to align with the Group’s goals.
• Provide accurate data as requested by auditors, compliance teams, financial control, and risk units.
• Supervise compliance with lifecycle management strategies, internal standards, and system maintenance protocols.
• Recommend fitting system development and retirement strategies aligned with business objectives and IT architecture.
• Prioritize task execution in line with organizational business plans, limitations, and urgencies.
• Lead the creation and upkeep of documentation, standards, and user guides following documentation policies.
• Ensure all application development staff follow current policies and best control practices.

Learning and Knowledge Development

• Understand user needs and existing system architecture to identify appropriate solutions, either by enhancement or new developments.
• Evaluate system constraints and architecture knowledge to strategize problem-solving without adversely affecting resources and delivery times.
• Coordinate regular departmental meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and relevant issues.
• Identify personal professional growth opportunities and engage proactively in development activities.
• Stay abreast of advancements and trends in the professional domain.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of six years' experience within the financial services sector, particularly specializing in web or mobile application development.
