Manager - Intelligence Operations Processes

Role Overview

This role is pivotal in guaranteeing the seamless operational efficiency of the Joint Intelligence Directorate (JID) during wartime scenarios.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee JID's infrastructure, systems, organizational setup, staffing, procedures, internal connectivity, and management of National Servicemen resources.
• Coordinate and lead JID's involvement in exercises at various tiers, ensuring clear definition and achievement of exercise goals.
• Contribute to future operational concept development and support learning from operations.
• Conduct reviews and updates of official doctrines and directives.
• Assist with branch-related tasks including logistics, financial matters, and infrastructure management.

Challenges

• Handling numerous simultaneous responsibilities within tight deadlines.
• Operating in ambiguous areas such as future concepts and doctrine revision where precedents or established guidelines are minimal.

Candidate Profile

• Academic background in Business Management, Finance, Engineering, or Defence and Strategic Studies.
• Preferably at least three years of pertinent work experience in related domains.
• Excellent planning and organizational capabilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal aptitude.
• Quick adaptability to relevant policies and directives.
• Capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
