Work Environment and Schedule

This full-time position involves working 40 hours weekly at Cygnet Elowen Hospital, supporting users dealing with eating disorders and personality disorders.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver a thorough maintenance and repair service.
• Perform a variety of tasks encompassing basic joinery, plumbing, painting, and general building maintenance.
• Maintain equipment, services, and vehicles to ensure functionality.
• Adhere to safety protocols, report faulty equipment, and identify potential hazards.
• Occasionally travel to other sites and be available on call outside regular hours for emergency repairs.
• Conduct weekly fire alarm checks including fire exits, door retaining devices, and emergency lighting.

Candidate Profile

• Demonstrated experience in a maintenance role or recent self-employed in relevant fields.
• Willingness to travel and possession of a valid full driving license.
• Proficient communication skills at multiple levels with an ability to document detailed and accurate maintenance records.
• Competent in DIY and routine maintenance tasks.
• Preferably has background in electrical, plumbing, or construction sectors.
• Personable, responsible, cooperative team player with a positive demeanor.
