Job Location and Schedule

This role is based at 525 Macnaughton Ave, Moncton, NB E1H 2S8, working Monday to Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM with flexible hours.

Compensation

Hourly wage ranges from $27 to $29.

Position Overview

The Maintenance Coordinator is responsible for overseeing inventory and administrative operations within the branch to enhance maintenance efficiency, customer satisfaction, and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage branch inventory productivity ensuring timely support for services and minimizing inventory loss.
  • Maintain appropriate inventory levels by ordering parts per sourcing protocols, coordinating daily with Centralized Parts Ordering to guarantee timely, defect-free supplier deliveries.
  • Organize receipt and storage of parts, update PartsNet promptly, conduct frequent inventory cycle counts, and ensure part availability as required.
  • Oversee new and used battery stock and maintain tire inventory with correct quantity and specifications in an orderly fashion.
  • Manage timely shipment and receipt of warranty-related items, working closely with the warranty department on returns and warranty communication.
  • Collaborate with Customer Service Coordinator to align repair scheduling with part availability.
  • Ensure vendor accountability and accuracy of payment processing.
  • Analyze processes related to inventory, maintenance profitability, warranty campaigns, cycle counts, repair order reviews, and other operational areas; propose solutions to profitability risks.
  • Utilize operational systems such as ServiceNet and AS400 for problem-solving and process enhancement.
  • Assist branch financial management by providing information and guidance to support branch performance and profitability.
  • Complete projects and tasks assigned by Branch and District Financial Managers.

Candidate Qualifications

  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent required; higher education degree preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal abilities with a collaborative mindset.
  • Proficient written and oral communication skills.
  • At least 2 years of customer service and operations experience.
  • Preferred 2 years experience within service and parts departments.
  • Quick learner with enthusiasm for teamwork and ongoing education.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Consistent and reliable attendance is critical.
  • Willingness to travel as needed, adhere to designated schedule, work onsite, and undergo background checks including employment, education, criminal history, and drug screening.

Physical Demands

  • Must meet physical and mental requirements to perform essential job functions, with accommodations available as needed.
  • Job duties involve reading, verbal and written communication, memory, analysis, and comprehension of instructions.
  • Tasks require standing, walking, sitting, frequent use of hands, reaching, and occasional lifting/movement of up to 25 pounds (12 kilograms).
  • Necessary vision capabilities include close focus, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
