Maintenance Assistant - Abu Dhabi

About the Role

We are looking for a Maintenance Assistant to join the team at Premier Inn Hotels in Abu Dhabi. Premier Inn is the United Kingdom's leading hotel brand with over 750 hotels worldwide and a strategic partnership in the UAE between Emirates Group and Whitbread PLC. The Maintenance Assistant will play a vital role in promptly resolving maintenance issues, ensuring the hotel facilities are well-maintained, and delivering exceptional guest care.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the upkeep of the hotel by maintaining high standards and attention to detail across the property.
• Conduct regular inspections of the building, plant, and equipment following daily checklists.
• Carry out routine, emergency, and general repairs to uphold health and safety standards for everyone on-site.
• Assist in preventative maintenance, particularly of fire protection systems to ensure continuous operational efficiency and safety compliance.

Qualifications and Experience

• At least one year of experience in maintenance or engineering within a branded hotel environment.
• Expertise in handling property maintenance tasks involving basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and painting fixes.
• A High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Good command of the English language.
