Africa Global Logistics Rwanda Limited operates under Rwandan law with headquarters in Kigali Special Economic Zone. The company specializes in transport and logistics solutions across Africa.
Project MERGE – Enterprise Content Management
AGL is launching a cutting-edge Enterprise Content Management (ECM) platform named MERGE, leveraging M-Files integrated with OCR and Artificial Intelligence technologies. MERGE is set to become the unified platform across multiple sectors including Logistics, Freight Forwarding, Ports, Customs, Finance, Procurement, Human Resources, and Legal for document management, workflow automation, digitalization, and information governance.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and maintain M-Files vault structures, metadata models, classes, lifecycle workflows, permissions, and business applications built on the low-code M-Files platform.
- Develop document templates and automate document generation processes; support AI, OCR, and intelligent metadata extraction configurations.
- Conduct integrations between M-Files and enterprise systems such as ERP, TMS, CRM, HR, and Finance, including API-based data exchange.
- Participate in testing, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, deployment, and release management activities to ensure platform stability and performance.
- Collaborate with business users and country teams to capture requirements, translate them into technical designs, conduct workshops and deliver technical documentation.
- Contribute to continuous platform improvement, solution standardization, and provide Level 2 and Level 3 support for deployed solutions.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, information systems, software engineering, or related fields.
- Strong foundation in document management systems, low-code/no-code platforms, workflow automation, and basic SQL/data modeling.
- Hands-on experience with M-Files and familiarity with similar ECM platforms like SharePoint, Power Platform, Alfresco, OpenText, and Documentum.
- Knowledge of REST APIs, system integrations, AI, OCR, intelligent document processing, Azure cloud services, and Power BI analytics.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.

- Ability to operate independently and collaborate effectively in multicultural environments.
- Professional working proficiency in English is mandatory; French language skills are advantageous.
Additional Information
The role is based onsite in Kigali, Rwanda. The anticipated start date is early January. This position supports a transformative platform rollout impacting multiple African regions and business functions.
