Role Overview
As a Luxury Buyer at Chalhoub, you manage Open-To-Buy (OTB) budgets and product selection to ensure that sales outlets are commercially stocked while maintaining brand integrity. Your responsibilities span the full buying cycle from pre-purchase planning through post-buy monitoring.
Key Responsibilities
- Exhibit creativity and expertise in planning and choosing products to buy.
- Leverage industry knowledge to introduce innovative merchandise, exclusive items, and new concepts to attract customers and drive sales growth.
- Influence and challenge the allocation and spending strategy of OTB budgets.
- Analyze sales data to support informed buying decisions.
- Manage gross margin, inventory turnover, and sell-through rates effectively.
- Engage actively in purchasing processes, product selection, and order quantification.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum of 2–3 years experience in a similar buying role.
