Role Overview
We are seeking a diligent and well-organized Packaging and Dispatch Supervisor to lead a 6-member team responsible for handling website orders, packaging, and shipment.
Location and Working Hours
Position based in Kandivali West, Mumbai, with working hours from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM daily.
Compensation
The monthly remuneration ranges between ₹17,000 and ₹21,000.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and supervise the packaging and dispatch team activities.
- Manage daily processing of website orders, ensuring timely execution.
- Verify product details, order quantities, packaging standards, and shipping labels for accuracy.
- Liaise with courier partners to coordinate pickups.
- Maintain records and track statuses of pending, dispatched, and returned orders.
- Monitor stock levels of packaging materials and update records accordingly.
- Assign daily tasks to team members and supervise their performance.
- Ensure the safe and accurate packing of all orders.
- Handle basic coordination related to customer inquiries or internal order issues.
- Maintain cleanliness and discipline within the packaging workspace.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proficient communication skills.
- Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities.
- Effective management of daily workloads and ability to meet deadlines.
- Basic proficiency with computers.
- Prior experience in packaging, warehouse operations, dispatch, or e-commerce environments is preferred.
- Highly responsible, punctual, and detail-conscious individual.
