Logistics Specialist

Role overview

We are hiring a Logistics Specialist for our Riyadh office to oversee the flow of IT equipment and materials between branches and project locations. The role focuses on ensuring timely deliveries, smooth customs processing, and reliable inventory control.

Core responsibilities

• Manage incoming and outgoing shipments by coordinating with freight forwarders, couriers, and customs brokers.
• Monitor import consignments and prepare the paperwork needed for customs clearance using Fasah and SABER.
• Check, receive, and log delivered equipment against the relevant purchase orders.
• Keep the warehouse organized, monitor stock availability, and carry out regular inventory checks.
• Plan and coordinate deliveries of equipment and materials to client and project locations across Saudi Arabia.
• Update inventory data in SAP and investigate any variances between records and actual stock.
• Work closely with procurement, project teams, and finance to align delivery timelines and shipping expenses.
• Ensure all activities comply with import rules, safety requirements, and internal company procedures.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree or diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a closely related discipline.
• Between 2 and 4 years of relevant experience in logistics, warehousing, or shipment coordination, ideally within the IT or telecom sector.
• Practical familiarity with Saudi customs processes and systems such as Fasah and SABER is highly desirable.
• Experience using SAP or another ERP platform will be considered an advantage.
• Strong written and spoken communication skills in both English and Arabic.
• Good coordination, follow-up, and multitasking abilities, especially when handling several shipments under pressure.
