Role Overview
This is a contract-based remote opportunity for a logistics and supply chain professional supporting a client through the Micro1 platform. The position focuses on improving supply chain operations, coordinating key stakeholders, and helping the business run efficiently from end to end.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee procurement, logistics, and inventory-related activities so deliveries remain timely and cost-effective.
- Review current supply chain workflows, identify bottlenecks, and put process improvements in place to raise efficiency and lower costs.
- Work with teams across sales, marketing, and product functions to keep communication aligned and operations coordinated.
- Create and execute supply chain plans, including risk controls and contingency measures, to reduce disruption and support continuity.
- Track supply chain results, prepare KPI and performance updates, and use the findings to guide business decisions.
Required Background
- Solid knowledge of supply chain practices, including procurement, logistics, and inventory management.
- Ability to evaluate processes and turn data into practical improvements.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills for working with internal stakeholders and cross-functional groups.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving ability to support decision-making.
- Comfort using supply chain tools and systems, including Micro1, and adapting quickly to new technology.
- Good business judgment and awareness of how supply chain work supports broader company goals.
