Role overview
This position is focused on maintaining guest safety across aquatic areas and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. The lifeguard will monitor pools and water zones, respond quickly to emergencies, support guests, and help uphold a safe, clean, and well-managed environment.
Key duties
- Keep constant watch over all aquatic areas to protect guests and reduce the risk of accidents.
- Act quickly during emergencies and provide First Aid, CPR, or oxygen support when needed.
- Apply safety rules and operating procedures consistently and in a professional manner.
- Guide guests courteously, answer basic questions, and help ensure safe use of the facilities.
- Carry out routine safety inspections and help maintain the cleanliness of assigned areas.
- Take part in daily training sessions and readiness exercises to keep emergency response skills sharp.
- Record incidents clearly and complete all required operational reports.
- Work closely with supervisors and colleagues to deliver a safe and positive guest experience.
Candidate profile
- High School Certificate or Diploma.
- At least 1 to 2 years of experience in a comparable role within aquatic or water-based environments.
- Valid Lifeguard Training certification.
- BLS and oxygen administration certification.
- Strong ability to observe, communicate, and stay alert.
- Composure and sound judgment when working under pressure.
- Capability to respond effectively in emergency situations.
