Role Overview

In the position of Librarian within Library Client Services and Student Support, you will play a pivotal role in providing research assistance, referencing help, and curating dynamic library programs. This role involves leadership responsibilities, statewide project management, and the enhancement of student support services through both in-person and digital channels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support customer service and mentor client-facing staff to promote and provide high-quality student support services.
  • Prioritize workplace safety following WH&S protocols to maintain a secure and healthy library environment.
  • Lead the assessment of library trends and best practices, collecting feedback and usage data to refine services aligned with student needs.
  • Create and implement marketing strategies to enhance visibility and engagement of Library Network's student support offerings among students and educators.
  • Take charge of and contribute actively to library projects and groups aiming at service and resource enhancement.
  • Participate in library network forums and committees, aiding the development of strategic and operational library plans.
