Job Overview
The LEED Coordinator will oversee and manage all sustainability and LEED certification efforts during construction projects, ensuring alignment with LEED standards and facilitating the intended certification level achievement.
Primary Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the project team to fulfill LEED certification criteria.
- Ensure adherence to LEED prerequisites and targeted credits compliance.
- Gather, examine, and organize LEED documentation and related evidence.
- Manage sustainable material submissions, waste disposal strategies, and indoor environmental quality requirements.
- Act as the point of contact for clients, consultants, contractors, and LEED Accredited Professionals regarding sustainability issues.
- Monitor LEED certification progress and produce periodic status updates.
- Assist with LEED Online document submissions and address review feedback.
Required Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Environmental Science, or related discipline.
- LEED Green Associate or LEED Accredited Professional certification is preferred.
- Prior experience working on LEED-certified construction projects is advantageous.
