Position Overview
The Learning Center Manager role involves overseeing daily operations, fostering growth, and enhancing family and student engagement at the Fremont learning center. This multifaceted position integrates operational management, customer success, community outreach, and team leadership, providing invaluable management and business skill development opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong, supportive relationships with students and their families.
- Track student learning progress and results to ensure educational effectiveness.
- Guarantee a consistently positive experience for customers throughout their engagement with the center.
- Oversee daily operations including scheduling, classroom coordination, and resource management.
- Coordinate tutors and manage the learning environment to ensure smooth center functioning.
- Participate in community marketing initiatives and cultivate partnerships with local schools.
- Drive the conversion of trial students into long-term enrolled members.
- Act as a local ambassador for Think Zone, representing the brand in community contexts.
- Recruit, train, and support tutors, collaborating closely with headquarters.
- Promote a positive, responsible team culture and provide ongoing coaching and feedback.
Qualifications and Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree is required.
- Residency in the Bay Area and availability for full-time in-person work at the Fremont location.
- Excellent communication abilities.
- Experience in education, operations management, customer service, or leadership is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proactive problem-solving mindset and ownership of responsibilities.
- Passion for working with young learners and families.
- Aspirations to develop into broader operational or leadership roles.
Compensation and Benefits
- Base pay ranging from $30 to $35 per hour.
- Performance bonuses and incentives tied to student enrollments.
- Estimated total annual earnings between $61,000 and over $100,000.

Work Schedule and Time Off
- 35 to 40 working hours weekly.
- Commitment for 48 working weeks each year, allowing 4 pre-scheduled weeks off.
- Scheduled time off includes weeks coinciding with July 4th, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year.
